Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000183 EndHTML:0000003129 StartFragment:0000002364 EndFragment:0000003093 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/computer/Desktop/obitsw:pics/Carr,%20CE.doc Charles Edgar “Buster” Carr, age 73 of the Green Grove Community passed away at Sumner Regional Medical Center on Monday, June 28, 2010.  Funeral services for Charles Edgar “Buster” Carr were conducted on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Walter Andrews officiating.  Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park in Lafayette, TN with military honors.  Bobby Gregory, Bobby Gregory, Jr., Brian Gregory, Phillip White, Raybon King and Louie Tucker served as Pallbearers.    

Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000183 EndHTML:0000003584 StartFragment:0000002549 EndFragment:0000003548 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/computer/Desktop/obitsw:pics/Carr,%20CE.doc Buster Carr was born in Macon County, TN on Saturday, January 30, 1937, to the late Edgar and Bessie Thompson Carr.  He married the former Shelvy Jones on December 10, 1960, who survives.  In addition to his parents, a brother, Hillman Carr, and a sister, Hazel “Carr” Carr, also preceded him in death.  A long-time farmer in Macon County, he was also employed by Columbia Gulf, working several years at the Pumping Station. He was a member of the United States Army, serving his country during the Korean War conflict. Besides his wife of 49 years, Shelvy, he is survived by a brother, Cordell Carr of Westmoreland.
