Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000187 EndHTML:0000003216 StartFragment:0000002368 EndFragment:0000003180 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/computer/Desktop/obitsw:pics/Culbreath,%20D.doc Doin Grisham Culbreath, age 89 of Lafayette, TN passed away at her home on Friday, June 25, 2010.  Funeral services for Doin Grisham Culbreath were conducted on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with  Elder Charlie Patterson and Elder Ricky Wilson officiating.  Braxton Boles, nieces and nephews, Jack Carr, and Jimmy Walrond served as Honorary Pallbearers.  Tim McDuffee, Derek McDuffee, Eli McDuffee, Cole McDuffee, Cole McDuffee, Jon Hessen, Josh Boles, Cody Miller, and Shane Hesson served as Active Pallbearers.    Burial was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park in Lafayette, TN.

She was born Allie Doin Grisham in Smith County, TN on Monday, February 7, 1921, one of four siblings born to the late Oscar and Louannie Proffitt Grisham.  She married the late Johnnie Clifton Culbreath on March 23, 1946, who preceded her in death on April 20, 1990.  In addition to her husband and parents, her brothers, A. J. and Cotton Grisham, and special friend, Hazel Goodman, preceded her in Death.  She worked several years as a bookkeeper at Mixon & Nollner Oil Company, had worked at Imperial Reading as a quality checker, and in her later years, she was a Wal-Mart Greeter in Lafayette.  She was a member of the South Carthage Missionary Baptist Church and later moved her membership to the Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church.  She is survived by: daughters and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Jackie McDuffie, Janice Jenkins, all of Lafayette, TN, brother and sister-in-law,Fred and Carolyn Grisham of the Rome Community in Smith County, TN, sister-in-law, Sue Grisham of Pleasant Shade in Smith County, TN,
grandsons and their spouses, Tim and Kristie McDuffee of Scottsville, KY,
Derek, better known as “Bubba”, and Brenda McDuffee of the Haysville Community of Macon County, TN, granddaughters and their spouses, Deneshia and Jon Hesson of Lafayette, TN, Bridget and Josh Boles of the Bethany Community of Macon County, TN, great-grandchildren, Cody Alan Miller of Lafayette, TN, Eli McDuffee, Katie McDuffee,
Cole McDuffee, all of Scottsville,  KY, Chelsea McDuffee of the Haysville Community of Macon County, TN, Shane Hessen of Lafayette, TN, Braxton Lane Boles of the Bethany Community of Macon County, TN, Special Friend and Caregiver, Rose Reid Dotson.
