Jerry Lane Goolsby age 56 of Lafayette TN formerly of Gamaliel, Ky, passed away Tuesday September 14, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Decatur, IL on April 5, 1954 to the late Floyd Goolsby and Pernie Harper Goolsby. He was employed with the Macon County Board of Education . He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by: three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Terry Lee Goolsby and wife Diane of Eutis FL, Kerry Ross Goolsby and wife Linda of Tucson AZ, and Carroll Ray Goolsby of Gamaliel KY, three sister sand brothers-in-law: Patricia Smith and husband Dan of Scottsville, KY, Sue Simmons and husband Bob of Waxahachie TX and Vivian Fox and husband Joe of Indianapolis IN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial service for Jerry Lane Goolsby will be conducted Wednesday September 15, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel, in Gamaliel Ky. Burial will be in the Gamaliel Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the Gamaliel Cemetery.
