Funeral services for Ms. Joyce Marie Cliburn will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rocky Mound Cemetery.
She was born on December 8, 1940 in Macon County, Tennessee to the late Heady Drury and Carrie Louise Denson Ethridge.

She was married to Billy Frank Cliburn on September 7, 1957, sharing almost fifty-three years together; he preceded her in death only a short time ago, July 24, 2010. Besides her husband and parents; two brothers, and one grandson, Matthew Caleb Cliburn also preceded her in death.       Joyce loved being a homemaker all her life. She was a great cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. Past time for her was bowling, traveling, and reading. Joyce was a gracious and dignified lady at all times; but always could get her point across with just a look. She was a very loving, and caring, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. At all times Joyce’s family always came first in her life. She attended Rocky Mound Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Arnold (Edie) Cliburn, daughters and son-in-law, Regina Christine Cliburn Beasley, and Angela Marie (Craig) Sloan all of Lafayette, TN, brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy (Louise) Ethridge of Carthage, TN, Arthur (Patsy) Ethridge of Goodlettsville, TN, Charles (Linda) Ethridge of Greenbiar, TN, and
Wayne Ethridge of Laweranceburg, TN, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, also survive.
