Funeral services for Cecil Allen were conducted, Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Bill Fowler officiating. Ray Flatt, Carl Flatt, Mike Goad, Daniel Hesson, Randy Flatt, and Jeff Herd served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Eulia Cemetery.

He was born on April 11, 1926 to the late Carrol and Ethel Allen in Jackson County, Tennessee. Cecil was preceded in death by; his son, James and two brothers, Rex and Paul.
Cecil married Winnie Flatt on December 11, 1948 sharing nearly sixty-two years together and raising five children.
He worked several jobs but farmed most of his life. In later years, his pride and joy has been his vegetable gardens. If you stopped by, you were sure to leave with a bag of something to eat. Hunting and fishing were the sports he loved, especially with children and grandchildren.
Cecil was loved and respected by all who knew him and was a hard worker all his life.
He will be greatly missed.
Cecil is survived by; wife, Winnie Flatt Allen of the Russell Hill Community in Macon County, TN, daughters, Rosie Jean (Bill) Hite of Brentwood, TN, and Barbara Susan Allen of Lebanon, TN, sons, Danny Allen of Lebanon, TN, and Billy (Tina) Allen of Lebanon, TN, mother-in-law, Sallie Francis Flatt of Mabry Health Care, Gainsboro, TN, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
