Jimmy Billingsley, Jeff Bailey, Corbin Ward, and Connor Ward served as Honorary Pallbearers.  Richard Hagan, Kyle Gammons, Nathan Jones, Clay Jones, Johnny Ward and Larry Shaw served as Active Pallbearers.  Interment was in the Pleasant Home Cemetery.

Ms. Edith  was born on July 1, 1926, one of ten siblings born to the late Noah and Malissa (Todd) Steenbergen.  She was married to Louis Earl Ward on December 26, 1946, who preceded her in death on August 21, 1994.  To this union was born two children, Kenneth Louis Ward and Carolyn Ward Hagan, who both preceded her in death.  In addition to her husband of 47 years, children, and her parents, she was preceded in death by seven of her brothers and sister.  She was a Homemaker and loved her family.  The remaining family recall memories of what a good grandmother she was and how good her cooking skills were, especially her dressing on special occasions.  She hardly ever pulled out a recipe, she just knew what to put in anything she was cooking to make it her own.  She was good with a needle, making fine quilts over the years.  She is survived by daughter-in-law, Nancy Ward of Glasgow, KY, son-in-law, Richard Hagan of Fountain Run, KY, sisters, Maymie Harrison and Katherine Sullivan, both of Austin Tracy, KY, grandchildren, Melissa Jones, Rachel Gammons, both of Fountain Run, KY, Johnny Ward of Glasgow, KY, Stephanie Bailey of Bowling Green, KY, and 6 great-grandchildren.
