Melanie Wilson, age 47 of Lafayette, TN passed away on Monday Evening, September 20, 2010. Funeral services for Melanie Wilson will be conducted Thursday, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin Tuesday at 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Thursday 8 a.m. until service time. Family request memorials in the form of donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center. These can be made at the office of the Alexander Funeral Home.
She is survived by husband Jerry Wilson, daughters Alicia and husband Nick Green and Kayce and husband Jason Gammon, brother Barry and wife Jennifer Newberry, mother
Ann Whittemore, half-sister Joie and husband Sonny Gammons, grandchildren Nate and Natalie Green, niece Breana Newberry and nephews Matt Wilson and Mason Gammons.
