Mr. Jackie Smit, age 67, of Westmoreland, TN passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Madison Healthcare and Rehab in Madison, TN. Funeral services for Mr. Jackie Smith will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jeff Likens officiating. Interment will follow in the Shrum Cemetery with Military Honors.

Visitation will begin Friday at 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. until service time.
He is survived by sisters, Lynn and husband Johnny Haskins of Green Valley Community, Virginia and husband Carlean Wix of Rineyville, KY and Thelma and husband Bobby Groce of Glasgow, KY, brothers George and wife Roma Smith, Jr. of Greenwood, IN, and Thomas and wife Lula Mae Smith of Greenbrier, TN, sons Joe Smith and Lewis Smith, daughter Connie Mae Smith and grandchildren Angie Renee Pinkston and Shelby Kay Smith all of Indianapolis, IN.
