Lowell “Bobby” Gilliam, 78

Mr. Lowell “Bobby” Gilliam, age 78, of Westmoreland died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at his residence. Funeral Services for Mr. Gilliam will be held, 1PM Tuesday, Oct. 12th, 2010 from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. James Wheeler officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

He is survived by wife Marige Ann Gilliam of Westmoreland (married 1/3/1970), stepsons James Michael Keene of Westmoreland, Jeffery Martin & (Lisa) Keene of Westmoreland and Timothy Alan & (Freda) Keen of Westmoreland, grandchildren Christopher Michael & (Shannon) Keene of Westmoreland, Stephanie & (Thomas) Brewington of Indiana, Kim & (Bear) Green of Westmoreland and Sara Ann Keen of Westmoreland, brother-in-law Will & (Sandy) Willoughby of Lafayette and eight great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by parents Carl Wilson and Hassie Mae Sadler Gilliam and grandson Joseph Adam Keene.
Mr. Gilliam was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He was also a United States Army Veteran who served in the Korean War.  He had been a member of the Westmoreland VFW since 1984.
In lieu of flowers the family request you make memorial contributions to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery or the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. These can be made at the office of Woodard Funeral Home.
