Romia Lee West, 67

Romia Lee West, age 67, of the Union Camp Community in Macon County, passed away Monday morning, October 4, 2010, at Macon County General Hospital.  Funeral services for Romia West were conducted on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Floyd Ferguson officiating.  Pallbearers were Donnie Bowman, Jerry Scurlock, Taylor Whitaker, Ian Whittemore, Larken Whittemore and Wayne Miller.  Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

She was born July 29, 1943 in Lafayette, Tennessee, to the late Paul and Versie Mai Tuck Bowman.  On April 29, 1961, she married Dean West, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Camp Missionary Baptist Church.  Romia was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband of 49 years, Dean, she is survived by Daughters and Sons-in-Law, Jacqueline and Barry Whitaker, Treasa and Mike Whittemore and Tonya and Lee Elmore, all of Lafayette, Granddaughters, Christina Ray and husband Josh of Hartsville, and Taya Elmore of Lafayette, Grandsons, Taylor Whitaker, Ian and Larken Whittemore, Lance and Levin Wilmore, all of Lafayette, and twin Great grandchildren, Cain and Cayden Ray of Hartsville.
