Funeral Services for Ralph Freeman were conducted Wednesday morning, October 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jimmy Cook officiating.

He was carried to the Mt. Vernon Cemetery for interment on a wagon pulled by a team of mules. His pallbearers were Brad Shoulders, Randall Bray, Bradley Bray, Harold “Frog” York, Jr., Don Davis, and Bobby Knight.
Ralph was born Wednesday, March 19, 1952 in Macon County, TN, the son of Merline York Freeman of Red Boiling Springs and the late Holly Mack Freeman. Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Roger and James Freeman, step-son, Richard Birdwell and step-granddaughter, Meagan Woodson. On February 24, 1997, he married the former Janice Reed, who survives. Ralph was a farmer and logger. He was known for his tremendous love for horses.
Survivors besides his wife and mother include: sisters & brothers-in-law, Betty & Hollis Tuck, Linda & Tim Pryor, Joyce & David Tuck, Rita Mosqueda, brother, Claudie Freeman all of Red Boiling Springs, brother-in-law, Loyd Reed, Fairview, and a host of nieces and nephews.
