Mrs. Brown was born on October 22, 1923 to the late William Lafayette and Alice (Burgess) Mayberry in Overton Co., Tennessee.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Cave Springs Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters Evelyn (Wayne) Strong of Gainesboro, TN, and Barbara (Terry) Lawson) of Gainesboro, TN, two sons Walter (Patricia) Brown of Livingston, TN, and Terry Brown of Nashville, TN, brother Booze Mayberry of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren Tammy (Joey) Denson, Pam (Robby) Scantland, Tiffany Lawson, Nathan Lawson, Nick (Chrissy) Brown, Jada (Jamie) Collier, Chasity (Wayne) West, and Jason (Brittany) Brown and 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son Jerry Brown, husband Will Herman Brown, and parents William Lafayette and Alice (Burgess) Mayberry.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, TN. burial will be in the Walker Cemetery with Shirley Jones Officiating.
