Ray Bohanan was born on Friday, November 22, 1940 in Macon County, Tennessee, one of six siblings born to the late William Edward and Mary Mahaney Bohanan. He was married to Judy Kosek Bohanan on March 8, 1979, who survives.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Bohanan Tucker.  He was a member of the Enon Missionary Baptist Church and had worked in construction and as a farmer.  His grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by, son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Jessica Bohanan of the Enon Community, brother, Junior Bohanan of Lafayette, sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Coel Bean of Moss in Clay County, Shelby Carlisle, Helen and Carl Carnahan, and Barbara and Danny Horne, all of Lafayette, a son-in-law, Daniel Tucker and two grandchildren, J.D. Tucker of Red Boiling Springs and Katlyn Bohanan of the Enon Community.
