Harold Pharris, Kenneth Meador, Steve Herbert, Mike Smith, Eddie Hendricks, and Freddie Perdue served as Honorary Pallbearers. Gary Perdue, Garron Perdue, Clint Perdue, Jeff Smith, Charles Young, and Randy Shoulders served as active pallbearers. Interment followed in the Rocky Mound Cemetery. Camilla was born in Macon County, Tennessee on December 22, 1935 to the late Grover Houston and Lois Lee Calvert Smith. She tied as salutatorian in her 1952 graduating class.  On June 16, 1952, Camilla was married to her high school sweetheart, Norman Garland Perdue, sharing fifty-eight years together; Norman survives.  Besides her parents; one brother, Jerry Smith, also preceded her in death. For forty-two years, she worked as a raw materials purchasing agent for Genesco, before retiring around 1997. Camilla was an animal lover; she enjoyed watching the hummingbirds that were lured in by her feeders. She may not have had children, but a precious dog named Millie received her love and attention. Millie was like family.  She and Norman spoiled her to no end. In Norman’s hay day of playing golf, they would have potluck at the golf course; Camilla would bring her specialty Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie. She also enjoyed spending the weekend camping and reading a good book. Camilla was a member of the Home Demonstration Club for a long time. She also served as a former officer for the Macon County Family and Community Education County Council. Camilla was saved as a young lady and joined Rocky Mound Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her church and was a faithful member for fifty plus years. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Camilla is survived by; husband, Norman Perdue of the Rocky Mound Community in Macon County, TN, sister, Dianne (Ellsworth) Wold of Mesa, Arizona, Brothers, Jimmy (Mayda) Smith of Rincon, GA, Johnny (Nancy) Smith of the Rocky Mound Community in Macon County, TN, brother-in-law, Wardean (Mel) Perdue of Lafayette, TN, several nieces and nephews, also survive.
