She was born January 16, 1938 in Celina, TN to Charlie D. and Melva (Pennington) Boles who have preceded her in death.

Survivors include his sons, Glenn E. Beard, Richard D. Beard, William D. Beard; grandson, Jayson T. Walek; granddaughter, Adreanna Beard; sisters, Christine Milton, Joyce Mullins, Joella Sizemore, Eurlene Cox, Vondle Watson. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Bernita K. Beard & Lisa Jo Pettyjohn; grandson, Alex Beard. 2 Sisters: Evelyn Lane and Geneva Boles. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 06, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, TN. with burial in the Turkey Town Cemetery with Shan Hammock officiating.
