Mr. Davis was born on September 30, 1942 in Overton Co., Tennessee to the late Arshel Landon Davis and Wurie Alvie (Scott) Davis. He was a factory machine operator and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

Davis of Blairsville, GA, Mitchell Davis of Celina, TN, Alton Davis of Allons, TN, and Martin Davis of Clarksville, GA, nephews: Bobby and Billy Davis and Jimmie Davis, and nieces Lisa Davis, Linda and Melinda Pickesimer, Sue and Barbara Davis and Kathy Davis. He is preceded in death by parents: Arshel Landon Davis and Wurie Alvie (Scott) Davis, daughter: Pat Davis, wife: Zula Davis and sister: Evelyn Carr. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 07, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, TN. Burial will be in the Ray Williams Cemetery with Dennis Miller officiating.
