Brandon Brooks, Gordon Vaught, Richard Brooks, Richard Hauskins, Shane Patterson, James Daughtery, Barbie Burgett, and Brandy Scruggs served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Rocky Mound Cemetery. Deborah was born in Macon County, Tennessee on November 27, 1950 to the late James Alridge and Annie Beatrice Freeman Scruggs. She was born one of six children to this union. Besides her parents; a husband, Gordon Haskins, two brothers, James D. Scruggs, and Timothy Scruggs, also preceded her in death. Deborah loved her family; she was blessed with two daughters, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She spent her life doing for others and never expected anything in return. She had several Chihuahua dogs that she loved and spoiled to no end. Having a green thumb made it seem easy for Deborah when it came to raising a garden. She enjoyed cooking and canning her harvest. Whether it was sitting back watching the Titans play ball or going out collecting antiques, these hobbies gave her pleasure. She attended New Zion General Baptist Church. Deborah will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. She is survived by; Daughters, Wendy (Darrell) Vaught, and Sharon Brooks, Grandchildren, Gordon, Jessica, and Megan Vaught, Brandon, Kaylee, and Parker Brooks all of Westmoreland, TN, Three great grandchildren, Brothers, Bobby Scruggs of the Eulia Community in Macon County, TN, Markie Scruggs of Westmoreland, TN, Sister, Lisa Scruggs of Westmoreland, TN, and a host family and friends.
