Don Harper, Charley Harper, Albert Harper, Jr., Jacob White, Jason White, and Mike Hauskins served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Earl was born in Macon County, Tennessee on October 3, 1931 to Arnett White and Pearlie Jane Reid White.  He was one of seven children born to this union. He was preceded in death by; his parents, two brothers, Jollie White and an infant brother, and one sister, Selma Lee Halliburton. Pick married Vonnell Hire White on June 29, 1985, sharing twenty-five years together. They shared six children from previous marriages. His family was his pride and joy. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren made his day, when they came to play. When having family gatherings, the boys would bring guitars, and banjos. When Pick pulled out his Harmonica the music would start and the fun began. Farming was what Pick did all of his life. Over the years he enjoyed farming, raising tobacco, and working with his cattle. On a slow day, he liked to tinker with his tractor, getting it ready for the next chore. Pick also worked for the State Highway Department for a while and then went to work for G. F., retiring around the year 2000. He was just a simple man that enjoyed being at home with his family and friends.
Pick was a Member of the Lafayette Masonic Lodge # 543 F & AM. He was saved and joined Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. Pick is survived by; Wife, Vonnell Hire White of Lafayette, TN, Son, Earl Wayne (Cathy) White of the Cedar Bluff Community in Macon County, TN, Grandsons, Jacob White and fiancé Jeana Moreland, and Jason (Amy) White, Sisters, Glean Hughes and Dorothy Andrews all of Lafayette, TN, Brother, Carl Ray “Bug” White of Missouri, Great Grandson, Jacob Edward White of Washington, IN, Great Granddaughter, Kerryn Shaw of Lafayette, TN, Step-children, Albert (Carol) Harper, Jr., Charlie (Angela) Harper all of Lafayette, TN, Don (Debbie) Harper of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Mike (Vickie) Harper of Scottsville, KY, and Pat (Joe) Jones of Franklin, KY, eleven step-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren, also survive.
