Teresa was married to Bobby Smith and has a step-son, Matthew Smith of Indianapolis, IN and a step-daughter, Jenny Smith.

Teresa donated her organs and was cremated with the request to be buried with her mother, Linda Travison-Cour of Indianapolis, IN who is married to Lyle D. Cour. Teresa has two sisters, Bethany Lynn Powers, Indianapolis, IN and Tammy Lynn Shirley of Lafayette, TN and one brother, William E. Hopkins of Indianapolis, IN. She was preceded in death by her father, William Bethel Hopkins of Westmoreland, TN October 2, 1970. Teresa has four nieces, Shanda L. Powers, married to Robert Keith of Indianapolis, IN, their three children Alexia Keith, Morgan Keith and Devon Keith; Amber D. Powers and Tommy Moore, their children Tommy Moore, and Haven Moore; Dakota Hopkins of Indianapolis, IN and Maegan Evans of Florida. Teresa had two uncles, John Travison of Arcadia, IN, Donald L. Hopkins of Gallatin, TN, one aunt, Patsy Hopkins Hillman of Cloverdale, IN. Teresa’s grandmother is Dorothy Barlow, wife of the late Charles Barlow of Lafayette, TN. She had many cousins and friends. Teresa was a light of goodness and giving. She gave her all for the people she loved and is loved by everyone who knew her. She was our sunshine girl and will be missed forever. Memorial service will be held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 5377 E. Washington St. with visitation from 2 p.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
