Harold Junior Stewart, 61

Harold Junior Stewart, age
61, of Lafayette, Tennessee passed away after a long battle with cancer, early
Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. A Graveside
service for Harold Stewart was conducted on Sunday, August 14, at 2 p.m. from
the Leonard Cemetery. 

Interment followed. Harold
was born on December 14, 1949 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Winters
Cordell and Lois Louise Atkins Stewart.  Besides his parents; Brothers,
James Ralph Stewart and Roger Cordell Stewart also preceded him in death. As a
young man, Harold was married and had 1 son. He worked over the years as a
carpenter, helping to build many homes in this area. He also had worked as
a logger over the years. Harold’s passion was being outdoors. He loved nothing
more than taking a walk in the woods or wading through a creek. He also enjoyed
doing a little fishing while he was wading in the water. Harold was a
loving man that enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by his
sisters, family, and friends who knew and loved him dearly. Harold is survived
by; son, Jason Stewart of the Defeated Creek Community, sisters, Cathy Louise
Pitts, Imojean “Crickett” Coulter and husband Randall all of Lafayette, aunt,
Wanda Walrond of Lafayette, uncles, Harold Eugene Atkins of Lafayette, Sammy
and Louise Atkins of Red Boiling Springs, Several nieces and nephews also
survive.

The family request memorial donations be
made to the funeral expense.
