Betty was born on August 8,
1952 in Wilson County, Tennessee to the late John Elmer Christian and Edna May
Guffey Christian. Betty started out driving a Taxi Cab in Gallatin, Tennessee
for several years. Later on, she went to work as a Certified Nursing Tech for
over ten years. Mom had been employed by Royal Care, The Palace Care &
Rehab and had recently worked for Sumner Healthcare, until she became disabled.

We would like to say thank you to
everyone for everything they have done for us in our time of need. If you knew
our mama, you knew how much she loved each of us. She loved us all the same but
in her on way. She was very proud of all of her kids and grandkids, for the
people they have become. Our mom was kind to everyone she knew, she was
forgiving, never judged anyone, and always telling us to never give up. You may
struggle but always turn to the Lord and he will always help you through
anything. The stories from all of her dearest friends are a testimony to my mom
and the life she lived. I know she loved you so and would have been thankful
for all you have done for us. I know my mom is with God in Heaven and although
she didn’t have many worldly goods, she had something no one could take away
from her, her salvation. I know now mama has seen the pearly white gates,
streets of gold and a mansion. I too, someday will join her in heaven. With all
of our loved ones that have gone on before us. Although she is not here she
will forever remain in our hearts. Mama we love you, this is not goodbye this
is, talk at you later.
