Brian Keith Carr, better
known as B. C., age 42, of Westmoreland and formerly of the Green Grove
Community passed away on Friday afternoon at his residence. Funeral services
for Brian Carr were conducted on Sunday, October 2, at 2 p.m. from the chapel
of the Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Eddie Gregory and Brother Tracy
Deering officiating. Football Players of 87”, Howard Cochran, and Austin
Mathews served as Honorary Pallbearers. Jim Carr, Troy Driver, Todd
Christian, Justin Parker, Trever Bohanon, and Shane Nichols served as Active
Pallbearers.  Interment followed in the Green Grove Cemetery.

Brian was born on November
19, 1968 in Wilson County, Tennessee to the late Ronnie Dale and Marjorie Faye
Sloan Carr. He was one of three siblings born to this union. Besides his
parents he was preceded in death by; brother, Jeff Carr, grandparents, James Cordell
and Nellie Sue Carr, and Ruth and Ray Sloan. Brian had worked in different
factories during his life including Lafayette Manufacturing and Peterbilt. He
currently was working as a welder. He had previously been married and had two
daughters, Brook and Abby. Brian’s personality had made him many friends
through the years. He was big hearted and full of laughter, always the life of
the party. Brian never met a stranger; he enjoyed talking to anyone who would
listen. Hunting was a great passion of his; deer hunting and fishing was
Brian’s favorites. He was a huge U. T. football fan, Brian was orange through
and through. Nothing was more important on game day than watching U. T. He was
saved in July of 1995 at the revival meeting at Rocky Mound, and he had
recently started visiting churches in the area, especially Sunrise Missionary
Baptist Church.  Brian will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by; Daughters, Brook Carr of the Rocky Mound Community, Abby
Carr of Hartsville, TN, Granddaughter, Ellie Bohanon of the Rocky Mound
Community, Sister, Kim (Elton) Mathews of Hartsville, TN, Nephew, Austin
Mathews of Hartsville, TN, Special Friend, Sebrina Janawsky of Lafayette, TN,
Uncle, Bill (Patsy) Carr of Lafayette, TN, Aunt, Shirley (Mike) Nichols of
Lafayette, TN.
