Linda Edwards Mims Hudson, 66

 Mrs. Linda Edwards Mims Hudson, age 66, of Lafayette, TN passed away, Saturday evening, November 12, 2011 at her residence. Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Edwards Mims Hudson were conducted Monday afternoon, November 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Elder Joey Hackett officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park in Lafayette.

    Her family and friends served as pallbearers. Linda was born Saturday, July 14, 1945 in Chichot County, Arkansas, one of four siblings of the late Woodrow and Nella Sue Raines Edwards. In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her brother, James “Mann” Edwards. On May 23, 1993, she married Prentice Hudson, who survives. Linda was a sales representative for Royal Beauty Supply in Knoxville, TN and a member of the Baptist church in Chicot County, Arkansas. Survivors besides her husband, Prentice of 18 years include: Sons, Bruce Mims, Darden, TN, Shannon Mims, Lexington, TN, sister & brother-in-law, Susie & Dewayne Roth, Lafayette, TN, brother, David Edwards, Leitchfield, IL, step-son and wife, Russ & Meredith Hudson, Lafayette, TN, granddaughters, April, Stacey & Sara Beth Mims, step-granddaughters, Lamanda Strong, Kendra Maubach, Kristin Hudson, step-great-grandchildren, Hayden & Landon Strong.
