John Mitchell “J.C.” Coons, 60

  John Mitchell "J.C." Coons, 60, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at the family residence.  Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Steve Hall officiating.

  Graveside Services were conducted Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1 p.m. from the Henson Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs, TN. Mr. Coons was the son of the late Bedford Coons and Wilma Coons Biles and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Suzette Dixon and Annette York; two brothers, Tony Coons and Clovis Coons; four half brothers, Buford Coons, Clifton Coons, Edward Coons and Leslie Coons; three half sisters, Bertha Crawford, Gertrude Hatcher and Estelle Cherry. He was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ. He was employed with Brown Stove in Cleveland, TN for many years and Pyramid Molding in Rossville, Georgia.  
He is survived by three children: Josh Coons and wife, Heather Coons, Jonathan Coons and Melissa Clayton and husband, Josh Clayton all of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Kendall Coons, Karlie Coons, Jada Coons, Jared Coons, Blake Rogers and Owen Clayton; one sister, Opal Crawford of Indianapolis, Indiana and one brother, Princeton Coons of Red Boiling Springs, TN; special friend, Mary Ann Ledford of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.
