Avo Sadler Hackett Jones, 70

Avo Sadler Hackett Jones, age 70, of Red Boiling Springs, TN, passed away Wednesday morning, August 15, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services for Avo Sadler Hackett Jones were conducted Friday afternoon, August 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Elder Terry Austin and Elder Billy Joe Shoulders officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery. Her pallbearers were Gary Kirby, Greg West, Richard Seber, Charles Green, Pentice West, Joe Dale Owens, Tim Roark and Louis Woods. Avo was born Saturday, August 30, 1941 in Macon County, Tennessee, one of nine siblings born to the late Noah and Maryetta Mamie West Sadler. On December 26, 1956, she married Harold Hackett who preceded her in death on March 30, 1969. To this union was born a daughter, Kimberly Hackett of Red Boiling Springs who survives. In addition to her husband Harold, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Esto Whitley and her brothers, Windell, Verdell and Cordell Sadler. On October 27, 1989, she later married Floyd Jones of Red Boiling Springs, who survives. On July 30th, 1953 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church on the front bench the Lord saved her soul. She united with Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her death. She was a garment specialist at Haywood Male and KY Apparel with many years of service. Survivors besides her husband, Floyd and daughter, Kimberly include: sisters & brothers-in-law, Edo & Dennis Kirby, Inez & Fay Etheridge all of Red Boiling Springs, Imo & Ray J. Dixon, Kempville, brother & sister-in-law, Cortez & Pat Sadler, Red Boiling Springs, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Robert & Judy Jones, Dayton, TX, Billy & Terrie Jones, Greenville, MS, sister-in-law, Arlene Sadler, OH, devoted caregivers, Diane Richardson and Debbie Sadler and host of nieces and nephews.
