Zelma Morgan Gentry, 86

Zelma Morgan Gentry, age 86 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Sunday morning, December 2, 2012 at her son’s residence. Funeral Services for Zelma Morgan Gentry were conducted Tuesday afternoon, December 4, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ with Jimmy Cook officiating.  Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery.  Her pallbearers were Tony Russell, Bob Cowan, Josh Cowan, Chuck Jordan, David Burton and Danny Knight.
Zelma was born January 7, 1926 in Macon County, TN, the daughter of the late Charlie and Susie Hix Morgan.  On December 24, 1957, she married Donald Gentry who preceded her in death on February 28, 1993.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Windel Morgan.  Zelma was a homemaker, garment factory worker for the former Imperial Reading in Lafayette with 25 years of service and a member of the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ.
Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Danny & Rebecca Gentry, sister, Dean Wright, brothers & sister-in-law, Charles Morgan all of Red Boiling Springs, Willard & ImoJean Morgan, Leonard Community, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
