Beulah Dickens Roberts, age 89, of Sunrise Community in Macon County, TN passed away Friday morning, January 4, 2013 at the Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN. Funeral Services for Beulah Dickens Roberts were conducted Sunday afternoon, January 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Wayne Meador officiating. Interment followed in the Cartwright Cemetery. Shannon Roberts, Matt Roberts, Matt Barlow, Daniel Meador, Zack Roberts and Zane Roberts served as pallbearers. Beulah was born Friday, August 3, 1923 in Macon County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late George and Ida White Dickens. She married Edward C. Roberts, who preceded her in death on February 8, 1988. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Evell Jones and brothers, Oakley and J. B. Dickens. Beulah was a homemaker and a member of the Drapers Crossroads Church of Christ. Survivors include: daughter, Margie Meador and husband, Ira D., of Sunrise Community, sons, Norman Roberts and wife, Lorene of Sunrise Community, Jackie Roberts of Lafayette, sister, Helen Carnahan and husband, Don of Lafayette, brother, Odell Dickens of Gallatin, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
