Memorial At Macon County Junior High
The Macon County Junior High School Interact Club planted a tree behind the monument on the school grounds in memory of Veronica Snow who passed away on July 8, 2012.
Fourteen-year-old Veronica was involved in an accident in 2001, and although she was handicapped she went to school. The daughter of Phillip and Faye Snow, she was attending MCJH when she passed away.
“Veronica loved being around other kids and being read to,” said Faye. Principal Bobby Bransford welcomed the family to the event on Friday, May 17. “Veronica was a sweet little girl with a big grin,” said the principal. “The students all loved her and she is certainly missed.”
