Up, Up and Away!

Flying a kite takes a certain expertise and there were certainly several talented flyers as the tethered aircraft dotted the sky at the 4th Annual Lafayette United Methodist Church Kite Flying Event on Saturday, May 25.

A lot can be said about the simple things in life and the afternoon was all about enjoying fun and fellowship as children and adults bonded in their efforts to reach heights never before obtained by a kite. (Photos by D. Gregory)
