Virginia Estherleen Jones Vinson, 88

Virginia Estherleen Jones Vinson, better known as Estherleen was born in Macon County, Tennessee on October 26, 1924 to the late Jimmie T. Jones, and Mary Belle Dismon Jones.  She was one of nine siblings born to this union. As a young lady, Estherleen was married to her sweetheart Louie Edward Vinson on March 3, 1943.  One son, Dwight Vinson and three daughters, Erma Brooks and husband Tommy, Kathy Taylor, Regina Barber were born from their love for one another. On March, 20, 1984, the Lord called Louie home. Estherleen was a stay at home mom, who loved God, church, her children and grandchildren, above anything else. She was a long time member of the Lafayette Church of God serving 54 years as clerk. She enjoyed making quilts, gardening, even running a tiller, and working in her flowers. Estherleen is also survived by; Grandchildren; Robin (Tommy)Dozier, Ken Brooks, Chad Vinson, Nathan Brooks, Atlas (Ashley) Barber, Chase Vinson, and Stormey (Jerry) Cunningham, Great-Grandchildren; Corey Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, Logan Dozier, Alyse Barber, and Ricky Ashton Barber, Great-Great-Grandchildren; Allie Jenkins and Colby Jenkins. On Friday, July 12, 2013 Estherleen was greeted into Heaven by her infant daughter, Robin Renee. She was also met by six siblings; Ella Reid, Lois Hood, Lynn Jones, Freddie Goodall, Eunice Jones, and Donald Jones, and sons-in-law, Donnie Taylor and Rickey Barber.   
Funeral services for Virginia Estherleen Vinson were conducted Monday, July 15, 2013 at 1 pm from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Danny Sellars officiating. Atlas Barber, Jerry Cunningham, Cory Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, Logan Dozier, and Stormey Cunningham served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Roark Cemetery.
