Two Jailed for Aggravated Assault

The Lafayette Police Department responded to an assault call at Cherry’s Trailer Park, lot No. 30 on Sunday, August 11.

According to LPD Detective Keith Tillman, twenty-two-year old Anthony Dewayne Barrett and 28-year-old Joshua Lee Wilson, both of Lafayette, went to visit someone at the trailer park and a confrontation ensued. “Barrett and Wilson began to assault a young man at the residence,” said Detective Tillman, “and they left him laying in the yard.”
