Fannie May Holland


Fannie May Gulley Holland was born into this world on November 16, 1940, in Macon County, Tennessee, to the late Walter Luther Gulley and Lillian Gertrude Brooks Gulley. She was saved as young girl and was a member of Grace Baptist church. Fannie married Samuel Paul Holland and they were blessed with three daughters. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1990.

Along with her parents and husband, Fannie was also preceded in death by daughter, May Elizabeth Russell; and son-in-law, Ronnie Russell. Fannie was employed as a seamstress at the Hartsville Garment Factory.

In her spare time she loved to sew and make dresses. Fannie also loved to take care of people as their personal caregiver. Early Thursday morning, October 6, 2022, at the age of eighty-one years, ten months, and twenty days, Fannie May Gulley Holland was called to her Heavenly Home. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Fannie Gulley Holland is survived by: Daughters, Paula Wix and companion, Robert Armstrong, and Carmela Green and husband, Paul; Granddaughters, Holly Wix, Rebecca Russell, Jessica Venture, and Ashley Wix; Grandsons, Zack Green and Jacob Green. Eleven Great-Grandchildren also survive.
