Betty Gail Perdue


Betty Gail Brummitt Perdue was born into this world on April 30, 1957, in Macon County, Tennessee, to the late Henry Brummitt and Jewell Dillon Brummitt. She was one of seven children born to this union. She was saved as young girl and was a member at Old Bottom Missionary Baptist Church. Gail married Myron Keith Perdue on November 10, 1978. They were blessed with thirty-nine years together before his passing on June 30, 2017.
Along with her parents and husband, Gail was also preceded in death by her Brother-in-law, Jerry Jones. Gail was employed as a seamstress at Measure Up for thirty years. In her spare time she enjoyed watching the Tennessee Titans play football on Sundays, but mostly Gail enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. On Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the age of sixty-five years, five months, and eight days, Betty Gail Perdue was called to her Heavenly Home. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Gail is survived by; Daughter, Brandy Keith and Husband, Daniel; Grandchildren, Brandon Keith and Isaac Keith, Brothers, Danny Brummitt and Wife, Pam, and Steve Brummitt and Wife, Kay; Sisters, Patricia Driver and Husband, Dewayne, Carolyn Stevens and Husband, David, Gloria Green and Husband, Tim, and Lisa Jones. A Host of Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Ms. Gail Brummitt Perdue were conducted on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Hale officiating. Interment followed in The Macon County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were; Dewayne Driver, Tim Green, Brian Driver, Kelvin Stevens, Chad Green, and Jason Jones.
