Jessa Spears Named 2025 S3DA Tennessee State Shooter of Year

Macon County High School junior Jessa Spears (pictured above, in center) was named the 2025 S3DA Tennessee State Shooter of the Year.
Jessa Spears Named the 2025 S3DA Tennessee State Shooter of the Year, the most prestigious award given after each archery season. This honor recognizes outstanding performance, consistency, and dedication in scholastic 3D archery.
To be eligible for Shooter of the Year, archers must complete in a least three regional tournaments as well as the State Championship. The archer’s top three regional scores are combined with their State Championship score to determine overall placement. Spear, who competes with Tennessee Triple Treat in Lebanon TN, excelled throughout the season, demonstrating exceptional accuracy and skill to earn the title.
Her hard work, perseverance, and passion for archery have set her apart as one of the top young archers in the state. This achievement not only highlights her individual success but also underscores the strength of Tennessee’s archery community.
For Spears, archery is more than just a sport; it‘s a testament to the value of dedication and love for archery. With this impressive milestone, she continues to make a name for herself in the competitive world of youth archery.
Jessa is the 17-year-old daughter of Jr. spears and Heather Hightower and a junior at Macon County High.
