A hardworking and dedicated man, Leroy built and operated his own drywall business for nearly four decades. His work ethic and craftsmanship were a testament to his determination and pride in his trade. Beyond his professional life, Leroy was a man of faith, attending Testament Primitive Baptist Church, and he found camaraderie as a member of the Trail Riders Association. In his younger years, Leroy’s adventurous spirit led him to the open roads on motorcycles. He also enjoyed riding 4-wheelers. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for horses, hunting, and fishing. Yet, nothing brought Leroy more joy than family gatherings and spending time with grandchildren.
His warm presence and storytelling were the heart of these cherished moments. In his later years, Leroy found comfort in the simple pleasures of life, often enjoying his favorite westerns on television. His quiet strength and unwavering love leave a lasting legacy.
