Two Dead in Macon County Shooting
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agents are continuing to work with the Macon County Sheriff’s Office to uncover events that led to the deaths of two shooting victims last weekend.
According to information released by the TBI, 44-year-old James Turner of Macon County, and 32-year-old Alisha Mondoni (address unverified), were discovered in a car at 5100 New Harmony Road by a neighbor, who called 911.
Officers from the Macon County Sheriffs Department responded to the 911 call.
One of the victims was dead at the scene, and the TBI was called in for further investigation.
The second victim passed away sometime later.
It’s believed the shooting took place sometime after midnight on Saturday, February 11.
TBI agents are continuing to collect evidence and interview witnesses and individuals who may have relevant information.
According to Mondini’s Facebook page, she was an employee of Subway and the mother of four.
