The Miss California Controversy

Miss California stirred up a hornet’s nest when she took the position that marriage is between a man and a women. Immediately, the left-wing population launched their firey darts at this courageous lady, calling her the B-word and all sorts of degrading names. However, to her credit, she was on two sides- God’s and nature’s.  From the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation, marriage is always between a man and a women. Furthermore, the law of nature puts down this perverted notion about marriage. These left-wing perverts are not as smart as dogs and cats. Animals adhere to nature, while liberal freaks and change agents seek to circumvent it.

It turns out that Miss California is the winner and the radical liberals the big losers. Donald Trump reminded those watching television that President Obama and Hillary Clinton had both said while running for President that marriage was between a man and a woman, but no one attempted to crucify them as they did Miss California. But to her credit, she won over the majority of Americans by standing by her convictions. Praise is being heaped upon her as well as opportunities being presented to her that will help her in life.
We need more people with convictions today. Great men have convictions; ordinary men have only opinions. Here is a saying worth remembering by an unknown author: “It is important that people know what you stand for. It is equally important that they know what you won’t stand for.”
Congratulations
Congratulations are in order for the high school graduates of Macon County High, R.B.S. High, Portland High and Westmoreland High. May “God bless you and keep you.”
We salute the Lady RBS High Softball team for winning their district competitions. Their coach, Cindy Porter, was so happy, she jumped up and down, and broke her ankle in so doing. We wish for Cindy a complete recovery. That is what you call getting injured on the job.
Some Thoughts to Brighten your Day
Wife: “Tomorrow is our fiftieth anniversary. Let’s kill the pig.”
Husband slowly responded: “Why murder the pig for what happened fifty years ago?”
A Kentucky farmer entered his mule in the Kentucky derby. Someone was amazed to see that and asked about it. He said, “ I don’t think he has much chance to win, but the association will do him good.”
