A memorial service is planned for Mon., April 19, 2010 at the Oasis Church on Highway 52.  Richard was one of six siblings born to the late Charles Earl and Pearl June (Wilson) Fletcher. He was married to the former Pattie Lee Enstrom on June 26, 1971, who survives and lives in Lafayette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Alan Fletcher. He was a retired Millwright at USX in Gary, Indiana and attended the Oasis Church. He was an avid golfer, loved bowling and playing his guitar. In addition to his wife of 39 year, he is survived by: son, Thomas Edward Fletcher of Portage, IN, brothers, Jim Fletcher of Equality, IL, Larry Fletcher of Sumner, IL, Carl Fletcher of Valparaiso, IN, sister, June Siler of Equality, IL, and 3 grandchildren.
