Men’s & Women’s Adult Basketball League

There will be a men’s and women’s  basketball league started this year, that will play during the months of March and April. The games will be played at Lafayette Elementary School. There will be a meeting held on Monday night, March 7, for anyone interested in playing or putting a team in this league. For more information, please call 666-7230.

Boys AAU Basketball Mtg.

There will be a Boys AAU organizational meeting on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Macon County High School gymnasium at 9 a.m. For more information, please call Coach Jason Welch at 666-7845. This will be for 3rd through 8th grade boys. We’re also looking for coaches and sponsors.

Youth Softball Sign-ups

The Macon Parks & Recreation Association is now accepting sign-ups for the 2011 season for the following age brackets: 5-8 yrs. (Coach Pitch); 9-12 yrs. (Jr. Fast Pitch); and 13-16 yrs. (Sr. Fast Pitch). Sign-up at Central Elementary on Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You may also sign-up at All About Sports during normal business hours. Try-outs will be held March 5 & 12 at the Harvey George Field.
