Junior High Tigers defeat Trousdale 30-0

The Macon County Junior High Tigers defeated the Jim B. Satterfield Yellow Jackets by a score of 30-0 this past Tuesday evening. The win runs the Tiger record to 5-0 for the season.

The Tigers took the lead early on. With 5:20 to go in the 1st period, Brian Swindle plunged in for a 10 yard score. The conversion failed and MCJHS led 6-0. After holding the Jackets, Seth Carlisle caps off a 10 play 48 yard drive with a score. The conversion fails and Tigers lead 12-0. With 2:18 left in the first half, Carlisle rips off a 73 yard touchdown to put Macon up 18-0 at the half.

Both teams would play some good defense to start the second half. With 1:52 left in the third, Swindle scores from 3 yards out to put Macon up 24-0. Finally, Devon Dillehay leads the Tigers on a 12 play 49 yard drive that takes 7:40 off the clock. Dillehay scores from 4 yards out with 0:40 left in the game. Final score MCJHS 30 JBS Middle 0.

The Junior Tigers will now travel to take on perennial district foe Livingston on Thursday September 19th. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
