Red Boiling Springs 2025 City Election Update

Incumbent Red Boiling Springs Mayor Kenneth Hollis is running unopposed in the April 2025 city election, along with three unchallenged city council members: Helen Gregory, George McCrary, and Donna Grisham.
Red Boiling Springs is a city located in eastern Macon County, Tennessee and according to the United States Census Bureau, had a population of 1,214 in 2023, and of those eligible to cast a vote, only 103 citizens was recorded as voting in the April 22, 2023 election.
Since 2019, Red Boiling Springs has been under the mayorship of Kenneth Hollis, who was first elected as Mayor in 2005 and served in that position until 2011. Hollis ran for Mayor again in 2019 and won the election over former Mayor Joel Coe. In 2021, he won the election over Cynthia Smalling and has served in that position to the present.
The deadline to submit qualifying documents for the upcoming City Election for Red Boiling Springs ended at noon on January 16, 2025 and according to Election Administrator Barry Doss the only people to submit documents to run in the upcoming April election are the current incumbents.
The withdrawal deadline is set for Thursday, January 23, and the Red Boiling Springs City Election is set to take place on April 26, 2025 at Red Boiling Springs City Hall, located at 361 Lafayette Rd, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150.
Eligible voters must be a registered voter and either a resident of the inside of the city limits of Red Boiling Springs or have registered their property rights with the Macon County Election Commission by March 27, 2025.
