Tony C Meador
Tony C. Meador was born on February 21, 1967, in Lafayette, Tennessee, to Carrol Gene Meador and JoAnna Burford Meador. He departed this life on May 30, 2026, in Reno, Nevada, at the age of 59 years, 3 months, and 9 days.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Carrol Gene Meador; his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Mary Lou Meador; and Maternal Grandparents, Clay and
Novella Burford.
As a young boy, Tony found the Lord precious to his soul at Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church. He was later baptized on August 31, 1980 and became a member of Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church.
Tony worked as a Generator Technician for Herity Pro, LLC., where he earned the respect of those around him through his strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. He took pride in his work and built lasting friendships wherever he went. When he was not working, Tony enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley, watching his family race, attending UT games, and seeking out new adventures.
He had a love for life and enjoyed making memories with the people he cared about most. Whether he was on the open road, at the races, or gathered with family and friends, Tony’s presence brought laughter, stories, and good times to those around him. More than anything, Tony treasured his family. The moments spent together meant the world to him, and the love he shared with them will continue to be felt for years to come. Tony will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Though his time on earth was far too short, he leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, friendship, and a spirit of adventure. His memory, his laughter, and his love for life will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Tony Meador is survived by his loving Wife, Tinker Meador; Mother, JoAnna Meador; Aunt, Vivian Burford; Uncle and Aunt, Don and Gail Meador; Brother, Jeff Meador and wife, Tasha; Children, Amanda Herity and husband, Blake, Andrea Meador, Tiara Conner and husband, Bryce, Christian Meador and wife, Julie, Chelsie Meador; Grandchildren, Owen Herity, Willa Conner, Mazie Faye Meador, Harper Herity, Kinsley Herity; Father and Mother-in-law, Joe and Linda Lynn; Sisters-in-law, Poochie West and husband, Mark, Shelbye Jenkins and husband, Larry; Brother-in-law, Joey Lynn and wife, Jessica. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, June 8, 2026, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Mark West officiating. Interment followed in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Alexander Funeral Home, Directors, in charge of arrangements. 615-666-2189
