The Macon County High School Golf teams had a good showing in three matches this week.

The MCHS Tigers lose their home opener last Thursday night against the Goodpasture Cougars 36-16. 

The Macon County Junior High Tigers get a win in their home opener against the DeKalb County Saints on August 28th, 2012.  The game went to overtime in order to decide the contest.

The Macon County Junior High Girls Soccer team began the season and split a pair of games.

On August 24th the Bulldogs of Red Boiling Springs advanced to 2-0 as they traveled to Mt. Juliet Christian Academy to take on the Saints in Week 1 of high school football action. 

The MCHS Golf Team traveled to Greenbrier, TN to take on the Greenbrier High School on their home course, Oak Hills Golf Course. The MCHS Golf team was victorious, posting a score of 295 to Greenbriers 339. Boys individual scores were Austin Williams 71 (1 under par); Ian Whittemore 74; Larken Whittemore 75; Zach Polston…

The 2012 season is underway for the Macon County High School Girls Soccer team. They opened the first week of the season with two wins and one loss.

On Saturday August 25th the Red Boiling Springs Junior High School defeated Carroll Oakland by a score of 28-20. The Junior High Bulldogs are off to a 3-0 start on the season.
