Funeral services for Margret Jane Hesson were conducted Monday, April 19 at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Ricky Wilson officiating. Corey Hesson, Mike Hesson, Wayne Hesson, Jason Russell, Ricky Oldham, and Austin Matthews served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Macon County, TN. on May 20, 1954 to Elmer Leroy and Edith Louise Delk Tosh; her father preceded her in death. Besides her father; two brothers, James Lee Tosh and Charlie Wayne Tosh, also preceded her in death. Jane was married to the love of her life Donnie Hesson on August 19, 1972, sharing thirty-seven years together and raising one son and one daughter; Donnie survives. She worked for Carter’s Automotive in Lafayette for twenty years. Jane was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother, her grandchildren were her life. She was a sport fan; she loved watching Pat Summit and the Lady Vols Basketball team. In her youth, Jane enjoyed roller skating and dancing. She enjoyed family reunions and anything to do with family gatherings. Jane was saved at Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church in her twenty’s and joined there in August of 1982, were she remains a member. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew her. Besides her husband, Donnie, she is survived by; son, Jimmy and wife Sandy Hesson of Castalian Springs, TN, daughter, Nicole and husband Vince Harriman of Chestnut Mound, TN, mother, Louise Tosh in Hartsville, TN, grandchildren, Austin Matthews, Tierra Harriman, Marissa Harriman, Abby Jane Harriman, and Logan Hesson; also survive.
