Funeral services for Lucy Mae Kingery McCall were conducted Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder J. E. Shoulders officiating. Interment followed in the Roark Cemetery.
She was born in Macon County, Tennessee on June 17, 1925 to the late Rosco and Eva Nora King Kingery.    
Lucy was married to the love of her life Henry Johnson McCall on July 8, 1943, sharing forty-six years together and raising five daughters and a son; Henry preceded her in death on December 24, 1989. Besides her husband and parents; son, Elvis McCall, daughter, Geneva Mae McCall, brother, Bethel Kingery, several half-brothers, and step brothers, also preceded her in death.

She was a seamstress for the local factories for several years, she also picked strawberries for Mr. Day very year, the kids remember going with her sometimes, sitting at the end of the field while she worked.  Lucy retired in 1972, so she could take care of her husband, during his sickness. She liked staying at home, putting her straw hat on and going out to work in the garden and her flowers is what made her happy; she raised a garden as long as she was able. Lucy loved her family and cooked for them very chance she had.  
She was saved as a young girl and joined Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church after she married.  Lucy will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who knew her.
She is survived by; daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Donald Hesson of the Pleasant Shade Community, Christine Satterfield of Hartsville, TN, Margaret Ann McCall and Donna and Ray Godsey all of Lafayette, TN, sisters,
Margaret Swindle of Lafayette, TN and Marie Jones of Franklin, IN, eight grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren; also survive.
