Bowser, 67, of Celina, Tenn. and formerly of Warren and Youngstown, died Thursday, June 17, 2010 in the emergency room of Cumberland River Hospital in Celina. She was born December 20, 1942 in Reading, Pa., the daughter of Harry and Helen (Wile) Bush. Living in northeast Ohio most of her adult life, she had recently moved to Tennessee.

She was especially fond of her four-legged babies, and no one cared for them better than she did.

Surviving are two children, Marlene Bakos of Burkesville, Ky. and Joseph (Rebecca) Bush of Bristolville; five grandchildren: Nicholas Gibson of Celina, Tenn., Zachary, Emily, and Alyssa Bush, all of Bristolville, and Bryan Cameron of Hartsgrove, Ohio; six sisters: Helen (John) McGee of Centerville, Pa., Harriet Romanski of Kinsman, Hazel Harris of Utah, Hope Beckwith of Colebrook Twp., Holly Bhojwani of Texas, and Hildegarde “Happy” Bush of Florida; and a brother, Harry (Darlene) Bush of Florida. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, James Bowser, who died September 25, 2003; and her companion, Charles G. Carr, Sr., who died January 11, 2010.

Services are 12:00 noon Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren, Ohio with Rev. Ed Lord officiating. Interment will follow at Greene Township Cemetery.
