Slayton, age 29, of Westmoreland died Thursday, February 3, 2011. Funeral Services for Mr. Slayton will be held, Sunday, February 7th at 2 p.m. from Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Johnathon England officiating.

Interment will be in Bushes Chapel Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be: Saturday, 5-9 p.m., Sun. 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Mon., 9 a.m.- service time. He is survived by; wife: Rachel Slayton of Portland, parents: Billy Rondale and Bobbie Lynn Slayton of Westmoreland, maternal mother: Margie Slayton Hatton of Westmoreland, daughter: Aubrie Junker of Lafayette, sons: Elliotte Turner of Bug Tussel, KY and Sawyer Slayton of Portland, brothers: Jody & (Angela) Slayton of Edmond, OK, Joseph Slayton of Westmoreland and Corey Slayton of Westmoreland, sisters: Cherrie Marty Crowder of Bethpage and Angela & (Tony) Spratlin of Westmoreland and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother Daniel Gregory and sister Katrina Gregory. Mr. Slayton was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Enduring Freedom War.
