Funeral Services for Mr. Thompson will be held, Friday, February 4th at 1 p.m. from Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Chase McCloud and Bro. Merlin Nelson officiating.

Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be: Wed. 5 p.m.-10 p.m., Thurs. 8 a.m.-10 p.m. and Fri. 8 a.m.-service time. He is survived by: wife; Erma Lou Smalling Thompson of Westmoreland, daughter; Christy Thompson of Westmoreland, son; Rocky Carter of Westmoreland, sisters; Velma Loftis of Gallatin, and Edna Harrison of Westmoreland, brother; Earl Jr. Thompson of Westmoreland, and grandchildren; Austin Caperton Thompson of Westmoreland, Victor Carter of Westmoreland and Cody Carter of Westmoreland. He was preceded in death by: parents; Roosevelt and Dellie Lee Hoskins Thompson, sisters; Mildred Carter, Wilma Satterfield, Donnie Anderson, Mary Frances Thompson and Joyce Slayton and brothers; Franklin, Randall and Leon Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a member of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Unipress.
