Thursday morning February 3rd funeral services were conducted from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home by Eld. Billy Joe Shoulders and Eld. Terry Austin.

Robbie was one of eight children of the late Johnnie Edward Woodard who died June 14, 1977 at the age of 75 and Flossie Irene Chaffin Woodard who died January 13, 1993 at the age of 82. She was born Robbie Jean Woodard in Gallatin in Sumner County on December 5, 1943. A brother, Junior Woodard preceded her in death at the age of 49 on November 27, 1979. On May 27, 1961 at the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church at Pleasant Shade she was united in marriage to Difficult Community native Duell Wayne West. Mrs. West was a formerly employed at the Key Hollow Corporation as a seamstress. She was a member of the Russell Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband of almost fifty years are four children, Lewis West of Tanglewood, Deborah Bane and husband Tommy of South Carthage, Susan Fontanez and husband Will of Knoxville, Stacy Rojas and husband Marco of Brush Creek; five sisters, Jewel Cox and Frances Cox both of Gallatin, Ruby Mai West of Defeated Creek, Pauline Kinslow of Lafayette, Jo Helen Nixon of South Carthage; brother, Donnie Woodard of Russell Hill;  sister-in-law, Shelby Jean Woodard of Russell Hill; seven grandchildren, Leah and Tommy Lee Bane, Greg and Ryan Shepherd, Jonah and Carly Phillips, Romeo Rojas. The West family has requested memorials to the Davis Cemetery Care Fund.
