Funeral Services for Ms. Annie Elizabeth Andrews were conducted on Friday March 11, at 11am from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Walter Andrews and Reverend Harold King officiating.

Ryan Dickens, Chad Dickens, James Andrews, Anthony Andrews, Sidney Hoskins, and Jimmy Warner served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Drury Cemetery. Annie was born in Macon County, Tennessee on March 11, 1920 to her parents the late John Taylor Warner and Jennie Anne Presley Warner. She was born one of three children to this union. On December 29, 1935, she was married to Ernest Andrews. They shared almost sixty-three years together and raised five children. Annie and Ernest were known for their personalities, they enjoyed entertaining their friends and family. They were big cut-ups and left everyone smiling. Ernest preceded her in death on June 18, 1998. Besides her husband and parents; a son, Earl Andrews also preceded her in death. Annie worked for Sunbeam Outdoor/ Furniture Company for 15 years, retiring in 1986. She was known for her hard work. Her hands never lay idle whether it was; a needle in hand making beautiful quilts, or a grubbing hoe in hand raising a bountiful garden. She also loved cooking for her family and canning her harvest. Most important to Annie was what God did for her as a young girl; he saved her soul. She joined Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church were she remained a faithful member. Though in her room all alone, her family could hear her every night praying. They have great memories of hearing Annie pray for them, their families, and her friends. Heaven has gained, but her family and friends will greatly miss her. Annie is survived by: Daughters; Jan and husband Glyn Coley, Diane and husband Keith Woodard, Sons; Roger Andrews and wife Dorothy, Donald Andrews, Sister; Ms. Emma Blackwell, Brother; Mr. Jim Warner, 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren also survive.
